1st Wossa tasting with foodpairing in Austria


On September 4th, 2021 my debut took place at the Sol Beach Club on Lake Wörthersee in Carinthia and thus also Austria’s first Wossa tasting with food pairing.



We spoiled our guests with international and Austrian dishes paired with different waters like Vöslauer, Donat Mg and of course with me, Wossa.

1st course served with Römerquelle

  • Caramel Tuna Roll – roll in rice paper · filled with avocado, crispy chicken, tuna & caramel teriyaki yoghurt sauce
  • Gyoza from organic veal
  • Mango Tataki Roll


2nd course served with Wossa

  • Sashimi & California Snow


3rd course served with Vöslauer

  • Fried Carinthian cheese noodles


4th course served with Radenska Kraljevi vrelec and Donat mg

  • Special cuts from the Big Green Egg served as finger food
  • Tomahawk mini chops made from organic lamb
  • Short ribs from Lungaugold organic calf


5th course served with Wossa

  • Original snow dumplings as a sweet finish


The entire event was moderated by Joschi Peharz with the support of the international water sommelier and founder of the Fine Water Society Michael Mascha. “Water is a valuable commodity and should be treated like a good wine. Not every wine goes with fish or meat. And it is the same with water, ”explained Michael, who has now lived in America for 30 years.



Also Governor Dr. Peter Kaiser paid us a visit: “In addition to time, water is the most precious commodity. Water is the source of all life. I can well imagine that Wossa will not only make a breakthrough in Austria, but also internationally.”
